Cedars-Sinai has been a leader in cardiology since we installed the first electrocardiogram machine in Los Angeles in the 1920s. From testing barbershop-based care for hypertension and decoding the mysteries around sudden cardiac arrest to identifying gender-based differences in heart disease symptoms and treatments, we are transforming the field of cardiology—and patients' lives.
