Research Informatics and Scientific Computing Core
The Research Informatics and Scientific Computing Core (RISCC) was established to facilitate access to information technology infrastructure services (servers, disk space, enterprise-licensed software) and provide informatics support to the Cedars-Sinai research community. The RISCC is intended to serve as a single entry point for all interaction between the research community and EIS except for routine break/fix maintenance. Those requests should go through the normal EIS Service Desk (310-423-6428), although RISCC can serve as an escalation point for problems that do not get resolved.
Users are provided guidance on how to engage Enterprise Information Services for their research IT needs and to obtain the tools and technologies they need to swiftly start their research activities.
For a more comprehensive overview of the resources available to the Cedars-Sinai research community through the Research Informatics and Scientific Computing Core (RISCC), go to the RISCC intranet site (for internal users only).
